The Other Members of Codding Law*

Lyman is the boss, and he would like everyone to be clear about that. He specializes in supervision, unsolicited direction, and making sure the household operates according to his exact specifications. His management style can best be described as bossy.

Taco joined the family speaking only Spanish and has since expanded his interests considerably. Mostly into food. His primary responsibilities include snack acquisition, meal-time oversight, and appearing whenever there is even the slightest possibility that someone has opened something edible.

Dio works primarily behind the scenes. Literally. As a black cat, he has an impressive ability to disappear into any poorly lit room. His work is highly classified, his movements are largely undocumented, and his preferred method of communication is to stare at you from a location you didn't realize he occupied.As Director of Shadow Operations, Dio oversees stealth, surveillance, and the strategic occupation of dark furniture.

Clara is Codding Law’s only female cat and, frankly, has little interest in being part of the team. As a brown cat and Dio’s fraternal twin, she shares his talent for disappearing but none of his interest in cooperating with the camera. She maintains a general disdain for Dio and an abject hatred of her other roommates, Lyman and Taco. Her contributions to the firm are minimal, her enthusiasm for teamwork nonexistent, and her performance reviews consistently unavailable because she refuses to attend them.
